Biography

Jon Sadler joined the School in 1993 having worked as a Leverhulme Trust Post doctoral Research Fellow (1991-1993) examining aspects of the impact of volcanic eruptions on ecological systems at Sheffield University (under the supervision of Paul Buckland and Kevin Edwards).  Previously he had completed a PhD (submitted in 1991) on the Biogeography of invertebrates in the North Atlantic Islands in Sheffield and an MSc and BSc  in Birmingham. He is a fellow of the Royal Entomological Society, member of the British Ecological Society and an editor of the Journal of Biogeography.
